Polls closing at 8 p.m, PA

Pennsylvania, along with 16 other states, has closed its polls at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) as millions of Pennsylvanians flooded the election centers starting at 7 a.m. Eastern Time (ET). As a critical swing state, Pennsylvania is watched by the nation as votes are being processed. 

Polls opened at 7 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) as many voters stood waiting. Many poll stations upset voters as they got off to a slow start, however, it was more efficient come midday. At the local Ricketts Center, The Hill School’s closest election center, lines stretched around the block in the morning and got shorter throughout the day.
